I-reagent ye-acetyl acetone; i-ammonium acetate engu-150g yengezwe ebhodleleni elinomthamo ongu-1000ml, yancibilikiswa emanzini angu-800ml, kwabe sekufakwa i-glacial acetic acid engu-3ml kanye ne-acetylacetone engu-2ml, yaxutshwa namanzi esikalini, yagcinwa ebhodleleni elinsundu. "Umthamo owodwa: 5mL"
